Employment screening is greatly impacted by technology. From topics such as vetting job candidates via social networking sites to how to integrate employee screening with ATS and HRIS systems, technology is omnipresent. Join employeescreenIQ’s Executive Vice President, Nick Fishman, for an informative session about technology’s role in the screening process.
The presentation focuses on three key learning objectives:
- Where new technology has changed the employment screening process, including these issues: screening candidates through social networking Web sites, integrating with ATS and HRIS providers, using electronic signatures on consumer releases, recognizing fake degrees and diploma mills and more.
- How to use technological tools to streamline the hiring process, while producing more accurate and effective background checks.
- How to identify screening partners that appropriately utilize technology when conducting background checks.
The goal of this session is to inform recruiting/HR professionals how to use new screening technology to make the hiring process more efficient and timely, but also to use these technologies appropriately.
Some questions we'll answer during the webinar:
Should companies and their screening partners use social networking profiles to determine hiring decisions?
How does new technology help organizations integrate their hiring procedures with their background screening practices?
Is a national database search an accurate, stand-alone method of background screening?
- Are adjudication modules a reliable tool to use when performing a background check?
