Many who see Google pay-per-click ads think that the first ads atop the right column go to the highest bidders. Not true: The click-through rate of your ad, and the keyword relevancy of your landing page and your ad copy are the biggest factors in your Google Quality Score, which largely determines the order. Many companies are using that information to drive quality passive candidate traffic to their jobs inexpensively.
