ABOUT JOSH KAHN
Joshua Kahn
Adjunct Faculty
Josh feels lucky being in the sourcing industry. Sourcing as he defines it covers everything that gets him out of bed in the morning. Strategic and creative problem solving, training and learning from peers, blogging, and collaboration; discovering and employing the latest technologies along the way.
Josh's current role as part of Accenture's North American Talent Center has afforded him great opportunities across the industries of recruitment, sourcing and employment branding. His primary responsibility is advising Accenture BPO's clients on how to make finding and attracting talent more effective, efficient and distinctive. He also works hard to ensure his group is at the forefront of deploying the most effective sourcing methods and strategies. He is uniquely positioned in this role to be both a contributor and consumer of the latest in sourcing best practices. His networking and people skills along with his passion for technology and recruiting have afforded him access to some of the brightest minds in sourcing, social media and branding.
He proudly calls Minneapolis his home as it has fast become some of the most fertile grounds for innovation in the recruitment industry. The Minnesota Recruiters Group, which he co-founded with Paul DeBettignies of MNheadhunter.com, Steven Rothberg of Collegerecruiter.com and Nicole Bodem of Arbita/Jobmachine, hosts a series of Un-Conferences featuring both local and national speakers. Not content to keep the collaboration local this year he was honored to be invited to become a part of Michael Marlatt's Cloudrecruiting think tank.
Josh regularly shares his thoughts on finding talented people, attracting talented people, and the latest tools for doing both via his blog at find-attract.com. He's also recently started a collaborative bookmarking group on Diigo for all sourcers to share and learn about their latest finds. Feel free to join here http://groups.diigo.com/groups/find_attract membership is open, and bookmarks are periodically posted to his blog.
